Dentons wins one and loses one in HK

Denton Wilde Sapte’s Hong Kong office is all square in lateral hires, having won one and lost one.

Stephen Wozencraft is to rejoin Dentons’ corporate group, which he left for Stephenson Harwood & Lo in 1998, while energy partner Peter Roberts is to leave for Jones Day Reavis & Pogue.
Wozencroft, who is due to join the firm in 2002, said: “The firm has been making significant investment in Hong Kong and elsewhere in Asia and I’m keen to be part of that.”
Roberts has yet to finalise his leaving arrangements. He will become the head of Jones Day’s energy group in Asia.
It is understood that a senior Dentons partner will transfer to Hong Kong to fill the gap left by Roberts’ departure.
