Name lawyer of Denton Wilde Sapte’s Japanese office Denton Wilde Sapte Kashio Law, Tetsuya Kashio, has been appointed by the Japanese Cabinet Office to manage its newly established department of compliance.
The department has been set up to establish and manage new corporate governance legislation, which is due to be submitted early this year. The appointment was, in part, the result of work Kashio and Dentons London corporate team had done last year to help the Japanese Cabinet Office conduct research on the UK Public Interest Disclosure Act.
The appointment is part time only. Kashio will retain his position within the firm.
