Denton Wilde Sapte sports guru Mark Gay has been drafted in to defend Greg Rusedski over the UK number two seed’s positive drugs test.
Gay is a familiar name in the world of sport law. He advises numerous national and international sporting bodies including the Football Association (FA), the England & Wales Cricket Board and the Racecourse Association.
He also has a particular specialisation in drug abuse in sport and recently acted for the FA association in the case against Rio Ferdinand.
A hearing with the Association of Tennis Professionals is set for 9 February.
