The Lawyer Global Litigation Top 50 report is the only ranking of international law firms by litigation and arbitration revenue and is essential reading for anyone seeking to benchmark their litigation and dispute resolution practices...
This year, The Lawyer’s annual ranking of the largest UK law firms by turnover is available as an interactive, digital benchmarking tool. For the first time this will allow you to manipulate each data set against the metrics of your choice.
Denton Hall has won a contract to privatise the telecoms industry in Serbia and says it could be the first international law firm to set up shop there.
The six-figure contract will be carried out at an office in Belgrade, which could become permanent if it attracts enough business during the nine-month stay.
Denton Hall beat US firms Weil Gotshal & Manges and Squires Sanders & Dempsey for the contract, which involves establishing a legal and regulatory framework for the telecoms industry.
Partner Nicholas Higham, who will head the Belgrade team, said: "The vast majority of business in Eastern Europe has gone to the US. It is good to see a British firm get one back. We have advised on almost all the telecoms privatisation projects to take place in Eastern Europe in the past few years."
Commercial lawyer Richard Homewood, who has worked in Serbia before, has been appointed from niche London firm Dormans & Co to manage Denton Hall's team, which will work with financial adviser NatWest Markets.
