Denmark's Danders seals merger with corporate boutique

Danish firm Danders & More has merged with Copenhagen transaction boutique NSR Advokatfirma.
M&A firm NSR Advokatfirma will operate under the Danders & More name and relocate to its premises on 1 October, in a move that is hoped will strengthen Danders & More’s position in both local and international markets.
NSR’s entire nine-lawyer team will join Danders & More, with its two partners, Philip Nyholm and Frantz Sigersted-Rasmussen, both joining the equity.
Sigersted-Rasmussen said: “It’s a natural move for us - like a football team moving up a league. Our decision to merge gives us access to a wider range of international clients and, importantly, to realise the full potential of each and every one of our people.”
Danders & More senior partner Anders Hansen said: “Frantz and Philip and their teams have built an impressive business over the past couple of years with first class clients and contacts.
“We’ve been in discussions with a number of firms but it was important for us to get both the cultural and strategic fit right. Joining forces with NSR is pure plug-and-play on the transactional side that further strengthens our local presence as well as our growing relationships with the global firms we work alongside.”
The merged firm will comprise approximately 30 lawyers.
