Dechert in seven-partner raid on Dewey

Dechert is ramping up its IP litigation practice with the hire of seven new partners from Dewey Ballantine and is also launching a new office in Austin, Texas.

Intellectual property litigators James Elacqua, Bryan Farney, Stephen Rosenman, Andrew Thomases, Craig Allison, Noemi Espinosa and Jonathan Baker have joined the firm as partners.

Farney will launch Dechert’s new office in Austin while Elacqua, Allison, Espinosa, Thomases and Baker will join Dechert's Palo Alto office, and Rosenman will join Dechert’s Washington DC office.
