Debevoise & Plimpton has hired a senior international arbitration and litigation lawyer from Shearman & Sterling for its Paris office.
Frederick Davis, a partner currently based in Shearman’s New York office, will relocate to France to take up his new role. He joined Shearman in 1991 as a partner from Patterson, Belknap, Webb & Tyler, where he was also a partner.
Davis’s recent clients have included General Electric, Citibank and a number of French banks which he has advised in litigation relating to World War II assets.
