Norton Rose (Vincent Keaveny) advised Deutsche Bank on the securitisations of Portuguese consumer loans and leases. In the first transaction the portfolio of loans was securitised in a special purpose Portuguese fund, which issued units to an Irish special purpose company, which then issued e150m (£95.2m) notes, due 2012. In the second transaction the portfolio was also securitised into a special purpose vehicle, which issued units into an Irish special purpose company, which then issued e100m (£63.5m) notes, due 2012.
