Addleshaws helps Admiral with pub acquisitions Addleshaw Goddard has advised longstanding client Admiral Taverns on the acquisition of 376 pubs from KUC in a deal worth more than £137m. The deal was turned around quickly, with due diligence and the exchange of contracts completed in just 10 days. Real estate partner Andrew Shufflebotham and corporate partner Geraint Harries led the Addleshaws team. Stephenson Harwood corporate partner Richard Light acted for Royal Bank of Scotland on the financing aspects of the deal, while Howard Kennedy advised Irish Nationwide Building Society.
