Addleshaw Booth & Co (Tim Hamilton) advised vendor 3i Bioscience Investment Trust on an all-paper offer by British Biotech for RiboTargets Holdings for £29m. CMS Cameron McKenna acted for RiboTargets, with Allen & Overy advising British Biotech.

Lovells (Roddy McKean, Peter Watts, Matthew Cottis) advised the National Air Traffic Service (Nats) on its complete financial restructuring, including the investment of £130m from the Government and BAA. Slaughter and May acted for the Government, with Herbert Smith advising BAA.

Travers Smith Braithwaite (Chris Hale) advised the buyout vehicle and its backers ABN Amro Capital and Dunedin Capital Partners on the management buyout of the aerospace division of the L Gardner Group for £21.5m. Addleshaw Booth & Co advised the L Gardner Group.

Slaughter and May (Craig Cleaver) advised Old Mutual on the placing of new ordinary shares effected via an accelerated bookbuilt placing, arranged by Merrill Lynch International, to raise £36m. Merrill Lynch advised by Linklaters.

Charles Russell (Katy Knight, Clive Hopewell) acted for Canaccord Capital (Europe) on two fundraisings: a placing and open offer by Peter Hambro Mining to raise £16.8m, and a placing and subscription by directors raising approximately £1m for Mediwatch. Norton Rose advised Peter Hambro Mining, with Field Fisher Waterhouse advising Mediwatch.

Wallace & Partners (Rex Newman) is representing Kondar in the £40.3m recommended cash offer for the whole of the issued share capital of Enic, a holding company with UK and international interests in sports, gaming, media and entertainment. Enic advised by Olswang.

Mayer Brown Rowe & Maw Gaedertz (Manfred Heemann) represented the Royal Bank of Scotland's Frankfurt branch as arranger, agent and lender in the e172.5m (£117.1m) financing of the Triton Fund's acquisition of the Tetra business from Pfizer. White & Case advised the Triton Fund, with Weil Gotshal & Manges acting for Pfizer.
