(Andrea Bartolucci) has advised Lehman Brothers on its acquisition of 12.38 per cent of Seat Pagine Gialle from Sub Silver for €804m (£538m). Seat Pagine Gialle advised by Dickson Minto.

Slaughter and May (David Johnson, Brigitte Leclerc) advised GlaxoSmith-Kline on its acquisition of the assets that manufacture the anti-thrombotic agents Fraxiparine and Arixtra from Sanofi-Synthelabo for £453m. Sanofi-Synthelabo advised by Linklaters.

O’Melveny & Myers (Llan Nissan, Frederick Bachman) and Edwards & Angell (Steve Meredith, Sarah Camougis) advised Apax Partners and Spectrum on their agreement to acquire a controlling equity stake in NEP Broadcasting from Wachovia Capital Partners for $320m (£180.8m). NEP advised by Alston & Bird.
