Shoosmiths (Oliver Brookshaw) advised Radstone Technology on its acquisition of Canadian computer products firm Interactive Circuits & Systems. Interactive advised in-house.

Ashurst Morris Crisp (Jorg Kirchner) has advised a private equity consortium comprising Bain Capital, Hellman & Friedman, Providence Equity Partners, Quadrangle Group and Thomas Lee Partners on the German law aspects of their investment in insolvent German TV company ProSiebenSat.1 Media. Simpson Thacher & Bartlett advised the consortium on the US law aspects. Saban Capital Group, another investor, was advised by Latham & Watkins and Hogan & Hartson Raue. Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer advised ProSieben and also advised Saban on antitrust issues. The vendor, Kirch Media, was advised by Gorg.

Travers Smith Braithwaite (Tom Purton, Richard Brown) advised Keolis and its UK subsidiary Via GTI UK on a joint venture with FirstGroup for the TransPennine Express passenger rail franchise. FirstGroup advised by Burges Salmon.
