French independent firm De Pardieu Brocas Maffei has picked up one of Coudert Brothers’ two remaining Paris partners.
Corporate partner Pascale Gros joins De Pardieu in a boost to the firm’s M&A capability. Headed by name partner Thierry Brocas, De Pardieu’s corporate team now boasts five partners and 15 associates.
Gros has been a partner in Coudert since 2001 where she has specialised particularly in acquisitions and corporate restructurings.
The announcement follows the news a fortnight ago (21 September) that six of Coudert’s eight French partners are joining Dechert’s Paris office. Only finance partner Jonathan Wohl’s destination is still unknown.
Coudert announced in August that it was dissolving its partnership after more than 150 years of history.
