Allen & Overy (A&O) partner Nick Segal is leaving the firm to join Davis Polk & Wardwell in New York. Segal will be Davis Polk's first UK qualified partner. A statement from A&O said he would leave the firm in June and that an agreement had been reached regarding restrictive covenants. "Since joining 14 years ago Nick has made a very significant contribution to both the success of the restructuring group and of the firm. The firm thanks Nick and wishes him all the very best for the future," the statement said.
