Harrogate-based Davidson Webber has launched an employment group, hiring DLA Piper's former head of HR in Leeds. David Hill, who left DLA Piper in 2005 to set up as a sole practitioner, joins Davidson Webber as a consultant. He brings with him clients including Yorkshire Water and Lincolnshire Police Authority. Also joining the firm is Gaynor Beckett, who joins from 20-lawyer Halifax firm Finn Gledhill. Beckett joins as an assistant. Davidson Webber has also moved to new, 2,500sq ft purpose-built offices on the top floor of Royal House, Harrogate.
