But I’m puzzled why Dacheng seems to want Russian law capability, when even the Russian firms are trying to build up English law capability because it remains the law of choice for any cross-border work in Russia. English law can only be used for contracts and even then some issues may ultimately be governed by Russian law but it is a fascinating tie-up and no doubt offers an English partner/team or even firm an eye-catching opportunity.
