DAC Beachcroft will relaunch its trainee recruitment scheme next month following its suspension due to last year’s merger of Davies Arnold Cooper (DAC) and Beachcroft.
On 5 November, applications for 2014/15 training contracts will open. Summer 2013 vacation scheme applications will also open at the same time, with a deadline of 4 March 2013.
At the time of the merger this time last year (DAC) and Beachcroft suspended recruitment, with a Beachcroft spokesperson saying: “We’ll not be attending law fairs this year or opening our application system until we have a structured process and plan in place.”
In their graduate recruitment rounds for 2013 both DAC and Beachcroft dropped the number of graduates they took on by around 75 per cent to ensure that future trainees would not be affected adversely by the merger (17 October 2011).
