Cripps nets land development in-housers

South East firm Cripps Harries Hall has hired two in-house lawyers from major UK housebuilders.

Richard Stokes joins the firm as an associate from Bovis Homes, where he was a regional legal director responsible for the whole residential development process in the South West.

During his time at Bovis he was involved in all of the major strategic acquisitions undertaken in that region and was also the principal lawyer to Bovis’s partnership developments arm, dealing with regeneration schemes.

Also joining the firm as an associate is Glen Miller from FTSE250 developer Redrow. He was responsible for the provision of legal services to a number of the business’s regional operating companies.

Stokes said: “Cripps’ core practice areas represent a perfect fit for my skills and its approach to the business of law is a very attractive proposition.”
