Creche courses

Manchester’s Pannone & Partners, a fixture on The Sunday Times’ annual list of great places to work, has long promoted itself as such. And the firm certainly appears to be taking the title to heart.

When Tulkinghorn visited its offices the other week, he found himself tripping over what appeared to be a whole nursery full of small children in the reception area, all happily negotiating an obstacle course of armchairs. One little boy made a valiant attempt at invading the meeting room, but almost tripped up Pannones’ head of commercial litigation Simon McCrum in the process.

Is this a creche, or is Pannones so taken with its ‘great place to work’ image that it’s attracting a whole new breed of kiddie lawyer?
