An employment tribunal said the CPS's conduct towards Maria Bamieh fell below the standard "we would have expected of a corner shop".
The service, said the tribunal, had wanted to "rub her face in the dirt" and its conduct amounted to "a most serious form of aggravation".
Bamieh's award included an unusually high level of aggravated damages of between £10,000 and £15,000 to mark the tribunal's disapproval of the service's actions.
Bamieh, who remains in her £23,000 a year part-time job with the service, has now won two claims of discrimination and victimisation after being refused promotion.
Last year she turned down a £110,000 compensation package from the service because it was offered on condition that she leave her job
