This year, The Lawyer’s annual ranking of the largest UK law firms by turnover is available as an interactive, digital benchmarking tool. For the first time this will allow you to manipulate each data set against the metrics of your choice.
Heather Mills McCartney’s former divorce lawyers, London and Buckinghamshire dispute resolution boutique Coyle White Devine, has declared its intention to become a national firm.
The firm, which presently has just five lawyers, will open an office in St Albans in September this year, one in Windsor in March 2008 and another in Liverpool by the end of 2008.
Senior partner Peter Coyle said: “We’re currently going around the M25 opening offices anywhere there’s a High Court district registry. But the office in Liverpool will be our first entry on the national stage.”
The firm has also promoted property litigator David Shehan to partner and hired solicitor Jackie Revell from City firm Steeles as an associate. Coyle added that the firm will be hiring a further three lawyers in St Albans in the coming months.
