Metropolitan Police have found a body thought to be that of missing Bar Professional Training Course graduate Gianni Sonvico.
Sonvico, 23, had been missing since Friday 25 October. Officers from the Metropolitan’s Marine Policing Unit were called to reports of a body found in the Thames at Greenwich Pier at around 10am today.
Sonvico, a graduate of Kaplan Law School who worked at the Law Commission, was last seen at 11pm on 25 October, having left a young barristers’ event at Middle Temple earlier that evening.
The Met is currently awaiting formal identification and has informed Sonvico’s next of kin.
