Council tenants to appeal

The tenants of a council flat in Camden, in north London, who sought to end their joint tenancy agreement on the basis that the tenancy would then be taken over by just one of them, have been given leave to appeal to the House of Lords against Camden council's refusal to amend the agreement. Last May, the central London Civil Trial Centre refused an application by one of the tenants that she was entitled to be regarded as sole tenant.
