Coudert Brothers dispute expert jumps ship for CC Paris

Coudert Brothers Paris is being hit with it’s third lawyer loss in less than two months after a respected international arbitration consultant leaves for Clifford Chance.

Pierre Mayer, who is also a Professor of Law at the University Paris I Pantheon Sorbonne, will join the magic circle firm’s Paris office as a consultant in March.

His decision to swap firms from Coudert’s Paris office arrives after Patrick Letourneur departed for an as yet undetermined destination while Stephen Montravers left for Paul Hastings Janofsky & Walker’s merger partner Moquet Borde.

Clifford Chance Paris’ international arbitration and private international law group is led by partners Jason Fry and Jean-Pierre Grandjean and is part of a wider local practice that spans eight partners and more that 60 associates.
