Couchman scores sports duo from Addleshaws

Commercial boutique Couchman Harrington Associates has hired two lawyers from Addleshaw Goddard’s sports practice.
The firm picked up the former head of sport at Addleshaws Andrew Price and legal director Steven Burton.
The pair have more than 20 years of experience and have advised clients including the Football League and Rugby Premiership.
Couchman managing partner Mark Whitehead said the new recruits are just the beginning for the firm, which is looking to expand the practice further.
“The sports fraternity has responded extremely positively to our unique offering over the past few years, and the migration from more traditional legal service providers towards specialist, sports-dedicated practices like ours continues apace,” said Whitehead. “While current market conditions are undoubtedly tough, we’re looking to expand even further from what is already a very strong base.”
