Powell Duffryn, advised by Booth & Co, has bought shares in Teeside and Humberside Holdings ports group in a u90m deal. The acquisition was partly funded by a rights issue on which Powell Duffryn was advised by Slaughter and May, with the vendors of Humberside being advised by Garrett & Co in Leeds and 3i as the vendor of Teeside being advised by its in-house legal department.
