Slaughter and May (Richard Cooper, Tony Beare, Graham White, Eddie Codrington) acted for Deutsche Post AG on the acquisition of the remaining shares of parcels and logistics company Securicor Omega Holdings. The remaining capital was bought from the target’s joint venture company, Securicor Group for E247m (£169.9m). Herbert Smith advised Securicor.
CMS Cameron McKenna (David Bresnick, Claire Smith) acted for private equity company Beringea on the £10m management buyout of Zenith Entertainment. Beringea is the lead financial backer and part of a syndicate of investors backing the buyout team. Rosenblatt Solicitors advised the management team.

Ashurst Morris Crisp (Chris Ashworth, Paul Gadd) is acting for Express Dairies on its merger with Arla Foods. The £150m deal will entail Express exchanging 51 per cent of its share capital for the entire share capital of Arla. Express will merge with Arla’s UK business, creating an entity with around £1.3bn in annual sales. Arla advised by Allen & Overy.
Pinsent Curtis Biddle (Andrew Masraf, Joanne Ellis) acted for ISIS Equity Partners on its investment in a £30m transaction to support the buyout and expansion of Care Management Group (CMG).
