ASSISTANCE group Mondial Assistance has recruited Howard Cooper from private practice as joint head of its expanding legal department.
Cooper, formerly with Cameron Markby Hewitt (CMH), will lead the team alongside Nicole Clark, who was recently recruited from Southampton firm Woodford Ackroyd. Cooper's appointment boosts the uninsured loss recovery unit which has grown dramatically since it was set up four years ago.
Cooper, who worked for William Davies Metltzer prior to CMH, will be in joint charge of a nine-strong team of lawyers.
