Offshore law firm Walkers has added to its London office with the hire of a partner from rival Conyers Dill & Pearman. Stephen Pollard has joined the firm's City office, where he will advise on Cayman and British Virgin Islands (BVI) funds and corporate matters. Before joining Conyers in 2003, Pollard was a partner in Allen & Overy's corporate department. He is the fifth lawyer to join Walkers' London office over the past year.
