I refer to the letter published in last week's edition of The Lawyer, "High street not running scared", from Mr Elias of Downs Solicitors .
For many years there has been a considerable degree of dissatisfaction amongst the home-buying public about the service available to them from traditional solicitors. Mr Elias clearly recognises this as his firm has apparently responded in a most innovative way to provide his clients with a much better service.
That is exactly the same aim as Hambro Countrywide Conveyancing has – to provide a much better service to our clients. In this respect Mr Elias and I are on the same side of the fence. Only those who provide quality customer service will prosper in the future.
The marketplace is big enough for both of us and therefore neither should be running scared.
