Constants loses P&I ace to Ince & Co

Crane was a partner with 22-partner shipping firm Constant & Constant. His practice encompasses all aspects of dry shipping, with particular expertise in trade disputes, P&I and Defence Club matters. He also specialises in French practice and procedure.
Crane trained with Constants and has been with the firm for 27 years, becoming a partner in 1978. "I was first approached at the end of last year," he said of his new job. "I know the firm because I've been on the opposite side in cases and have been impressed by its performance. We also had common clients in the US. Any P&I lawyer wants to be part of a big team to advise clients with worldwide presence. Constants doesn't have worldwide offices."
Crane is bringing several clients over to Ince & Co, including huge mutual club Thomas Miller.
