Collas Day has split into two following an ongoing dispute over the direction of the firm. Litigation partners Mark Ferbrache and Paul Richardson have left to form a rival Guernsey-based firm, which will be known as AFR Advocates. Collas Day managing partner Chris Bound downplayed the split, citing "differences of opinion". Partners Chris Bound, Sean Cheong, Jason Green, Ian Kirk, Richard Ogier and Patrick Palmer have formed a new firm that will continue to operate under the Collas Day name. Associate Christian Hay has been promoted to the Collas Day partnership as head of dispute resolution in a bid to rebuild.
