Collas Crill adds to Jersey team with Maples hire

Channel Islands firm Collas Crill is continuing its post-merger expansion with the hire of a Cayman-qualified partner.
Mark Rawlins, previously an associate partner at Maples and Calder in the Cayman Islands, joins Collas Crill’s Jersey office.
He specialises in offshore funds and corporate work, including advice on private equity and hedge funds.
The hire marks continued growth for Collas Crill, which was formed through the merger of Guernsey’s Collas Day and Jersey’s Crill Canavan in April this year (2 December 2010).
The firm recently opened a Singapore office (26 May 2011).
Rawlins’ hire brings the number of partners at the firm to 18, up from 15 at the time of the merger announcement.
