Los Angeles firm Latham & Watkins has ramped up its global antitrust practice and added a new capability in London with a team from Coca-Cola.
A three-strong competition team is moving from the drinks giant's global in-house team. Senior competition counsel Abbott Lipsky and competition counsel Michael Egge both join the Washington DC office as partners. Competition counsel John Colahan is relocating to Latham in London as of counsel. He is the first antitrust lawyer to join the firm in the UK. The firm has this year gained a French competition practice and a German practice through mergers with Stibbe and Gaedertz offices.
