Cobbetts' Manchester office has had a lucrative start to 2007, with its residential development team putting in a particularly strong performance by already being appointed to two property panels this year. It began with the team scooping a position on housebuilder Taylor Woodrow's legal panel in January, joining firms including Walker Morris and Wragge & Co. Then in late February, following a competitive pitch, the firm's Manchester team secured a place on property developer Countryside Properties' panel. This should prove to be a particularly lucrative appointment for the firm, which will see it advise on a redevelopment scheme in Stoke that will turn 560 acres of land into residential and commercial space over the next 15 years.
