This year, The Lawyer’s annual ranking of the largest UK law firms by turnover is available as an interactive, digital benchmarking tool. For the first time this will allow you to manipulate each data set against the metrics of your choice.
Cobbetts has been selected as the main legal adviser to leisure trusts lobbying group the Sports and Recreation Trusts Association (SpoRTA).
Partner Mark Fitzgibbon, who will be SpoRTA's key contact at Cobbetts, said SpoRTA has no in-house legal capacity, prompting the need for an external adviser.
Cobbetts was approached by the association due to its record in the public sector. The work kicks off with advice over an internet media content agreement and will cover contracts law, charities advice and other legal issues as they arise.
SpoRTA has a membership of more than 100 leisure trusts over the UK's running, sports and leisure centres for the general public. Its combined turnover is more than £490m and more than 118-million customers use its leisure centres each year.
