Cobbetts has promoted seven associates to partner, lifting the total number of partners in the firm to 147.
The promotions are primarily in Manchester, but cover the firm’s main practice areas. Catherine Haslam and Kate Bouchier both become property partners in Manchester, while Ed Frankland and Rob Turner have been made up in the litigation team.
Manchester-based Charlotte Round has been promoted in the banking department, alongside licensing specialist Darren Luty. Meanwhile in Birmingham Yetunde Dania becomes a partner in the social housing team.
The promotions follow a year of aggressive hiring by Cobbetts, which has brought in partners from firms such as Hammonds and DLA.
