CMS Cameron revamps BD capability

CMS Cameron revamps BD capabilityCMS Cameron McKenna has seen two senior business services staff depart after new managing partner Duncan Weston's leadership overhaul.

Head of human resources Dianne Gwynne resigned last month while director of marketing Jeremy Knott was made redundant.

Knott's role is to be split between Tom Kingsley, who will handle external communications, and two new business development managers, who will work on client development and new business.

Both will report to head of operations Tony Wright, who said the firm was recruiting to fill the business development manager positions.

A replacement for Gwynne has not yet been found and the firm has not decided what to do with the role.

Wright said: "We're looking at what to do with that role, whether it will be a like-for-like replacement or another re-organisation."

Last month the firm revamped its management structure by setting up a single governing body to replace the old management board and executive committee.
