CMS Cameron McKenna expects to move into a new skyscraper in Principal Place in early 2015, the firm announced today.
The lease at its present premises at Mitre House ends the same year.
The City firm has entered into a deal with property development company Hammerson to move into its new building adjoining Norton Folgate, Worship Street and Curtain Road, north of Bishopsgate.
It will occupy up to 200,000 square feet (18,580 square metres), representing around a third of the 591,000 square feet (54,906 square metres) office building near Liverpool Street station.
The development will contain shops, restaurants and residential apartments alongside office space. It was designed by architects Foster + Partners, which also designed the Gherkin.
CMS Camerons currently uses 186,000 square feet of office space in Mitre House on Aldersgate Street.
Dick Tyler, the firm’s senior partner, said: “Having undertaken a detailed property review looking at the options available, I am delighted we have selected Principal Place.
“It will be a contemporary building designed by Fosters & Partners in an up and coming district of the City that will provide a dynamic working environment for our people and also offers flexibility for our future needs.
