  • 7% more spcace in 2015 over what they have now? Not exactly predigious growth forecast for the next 10 years then. Not so much silver circle as wooden spoon. Of course, if they have more redundancies/outsourcing planned then they'll have more space...

  • Not sure if you can call a 16 storey building 'a sky scraper'. They're going to be dwarfed by the two real skyscrapers either side. Please would Cameron McKenna stop this interminable spin that they have to put on everything.

  • Err... perhaps CMS believe that some services are better not delivered from expensive City offices???

  • Heard the one about the small infrastructure dominated by premiership power house infrastructures? It's called Macclesfield Town, Accrington Stanley, Bury or CMS Camerons.

  • I can't be alone in finding it both tedious and unedifying to note that every story about CMS Cameron McKenna is stained with the bile of some embittered (and presumably former) CMS employee.
Whoever they are, it is clear that their self-interest was at odds with the firm's decision to outsource most of its back office. Boo hoo. Get a life - preferably one that does not involve railing against the past.
We know you've been hurt. You're angry too. Life's not fair, is it? But now it's time to move on. Whoever you are and whatever has happened to you, it shows you in a very poor light that you won't let it drop. And your tactics aren't working anyway: most readers won’t be influenced by your broken record rantings.
And, by the way, I don't work at the firm (although I used to) and have no brief to speak on its behalf.

  • Who cares? Many of us here at the firm plan to leave soon anyway and so alas will not be able to enjoy the skyscraper views from the 16th storey. In my department, nearly all of us (that's a large number) have our CVs out with recruiters and can't wait to jump ship before it's all too late...Save us all!

  • Vulgar, vainglorious and grossly insensitive to all those who have lost their jobs at CMS to increase the incomes of those already earning grotesque multiples of the average salary.

  • Shouldn't the headline be: "CMS moves to Hackney"??
