  • It was good of someone to refer to me as Clint Eastwood. Having seen my name used so many times in such a small space above I certainly feel like The Man with No Name (unlike the firm). I am not sure if all this is a matter of A Fistful of Dollars, or For a Few Dollars More, or The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. More Bonnie and Clyde perhaps.....

  • Probably great for all the partners, shame they are shafting all of their staff in the process!

  • This isn't a done deal yet, so the partners could be shafting themselves ...

  • It's ironic that when you click onto the Shadbolt website there's a sign saying 'Keep Calm and Carry On'...

  • This sounds like a good strategic opportunity for Shadbolts whose management seems to have lost its way since Shadbolt retired.
Perhaps now they can properly reward their loyal and hardworking staff as there seems to have been precious little of this recently.

  • Letting the star of the show ride off into the sunset was an interesting decision.

  • Dick/Clint, since you left Shadbolt the firm has been run into the ground. You would have dealt with it so differently.

  • Dick we miss you. The self destruct button has been well and truly pressed since you were booted out.
