Clyde & Co has expanded in the US with the addition of a three-strong team to its New Jersey office.
The firm has added partner Robert Priestley alongside senior counsel Anthony Tessitore and Timothy Jabbour, all three join from New York insurance firm Mendes & Mount.
Priestly, an insurance litigator who was managing partner of Mendes & Mount’s New Jersey office, joins Clydes as an equity partner.
Clyde & Co New Jersey managing partner Daren McNally said since launching in New Jersey in 2010 with two partners (8 February 2010), the firm had grown the office to seven partners and a total of 20 lawyers.
Priestley is the first Stateside lateral hire for the firm since last April when Clydes bolstered its San Francisco base with the addition of two partners from Tucker Ellis & West, Kim West and William Lutz.
