Clydes made up a record nine partners, of whom only four were based in the UK. Last year the firm made up just four partners in total - three were based in the UK with only one being based abroad in Singapore.
Dubai ;and ;Hong Kong/Shanghai were the big winners with four new partners in total. These were spread across IP and real estate in Dubai, with corporate gaining two new partners in China.
Clydes' ;office ;in ;Rio ;welcomed one new partner in aviation, a practice area that the firm has recently focused on heavily. Clydes has also made up four equity partners to senior equity partner level. New insurance, corporate and trade and energy partners were made up in Clydes' London and Guildford offices.
North West firm Hill Dickinson ;has ;also promoted heavily outside its traditional Liverpool base. The booming Manchester office profited with half of its eight promotions being made there. Liverpool saw three ;promotions ;and Chester gained one new partner.
Hill Dickinson, meanwhile, has been looking to make its mark in Manchester through the development of its company commercial department, in which a total of four promotions were made across the offices.
