Your assertion is incorrect. Clintons is a leading media and entertainment firm with a substantial and growing base of clients.
To deal with an increasing workload we have been expanding our team of lawyers by both recruiting externally and promoting internally.
We have recruited Angeline Tournier from Allen & Overy (where she is a member of the media and entertainment group) to focus on "pure" private client work, in particular tax and trusts.
Bernadette Thomas, who specialises in intellectual property, has joined us from Slaughter and May to cover commercial work for private and other media and entertainment clients.
Rachel Evers and Paul March, who both trained with the firm, have been taken on as assistant solicitors to cover commercial work for our private and other media and entertainment clients, principally in music and theatre.
The interest from lawyers in top City firms for these positions has been substantial. There has been no restrucure, but simply a growth in our practice.
