Clifford Chance's Hyde to lead Asia Pac finance team

Hyde will relocate to Hong Kong next year for a four-year term in the role. He replaces Huw Jenkins, who has led the firm’s Asia Pacific finance team since 2001.

Jenkins will remain in Hong Kong for the time being, focusing on projects work as part of the Clifford Chance energy and infrastructure group.

In London the restructuring and insolvency practice will be jointly led by David Steinberg and Philip Hertz. 

Global finance head Mark Campbell said in a statement that he thought the Asia Pacific finance and restructuring teams would go “from strength to strength” under Hyde’s leadership.
