Clifford Chance Paris managing partner Yves Wehrli has been appointed for a third successive stint as office chief, while the French executive committee is reshuffled.
Corporate specialist Wehrli has been managing partner since 2000 and will begin his third term of four years in May. He joined the firm in 1980, making partner eight years later.
Wehrli sits on the France executive committee with Paris general manager Francois Bammert. The committee will be expanded as with a group of four new partners. Dispute resolution partners Christian Lacheze and David Preat have claimed roles on the committee, along with real estate partner Francois Bonteil and tax partner Eric Davoudet.
The firm continues to grow in Paris. The office saw three associates promoted to partner in this year's promotion round. Corporate lawyer Laurent Schoenstein and finance specialist Mustapha Mourahib were made up along with Aubry d'Argenlieu in real estate.
