Clifford Chance has re-elected Jan ter Haar as managing partner of its Amsterdam office, confirming his second three-year term in the role.
Ter Haar said: “I am very pleased to have the opportunity to manage the Amsterdam office for a second term.”
Ter Haar began his career at Clifford Chance in Dubai in 1980, and has since worked in the firm’s London and New York offices, including as a member of the New York office management committee.
Between 1993 and 1997 ter Haar was also managing partner of Clifford Chance’s Frankfurt office.
Ter Haar added in a statement: “Clifford Chance Amsterdam has a leading position in the domestic and international markets, for financial and corporate transactions and has been involved in some of the most complex, cutting edge and high profile transactions which have taken place.
