Clifford Chance management gears up for election fever" />At the start of last month (7 August) The Lawyer reported that the latest round of elections at Clifford Chance had been pencilled in for the autumn. Five key positions, including that of senior partner, are due to be put to the partners later this year. The current senior partner Stuart Popham is widely expected to stand for re-election.
The positions as heads of Asia and Germany will also be voted upon within the next few months as both Jim Baird and Hans-Josef Scheider see their respective tenures end at the end of the year.
The other two senior management figures that are nearing the end of their terms are banking head Mark Campbell and head of capital markets David Dunnigan. Both are expected to retain their roles.
