Clifford Chance boosts Kiev office with Moscow partner transfer

Clifford Chance has relocated Moscow-based banking and finance partner Jared Grubb to its Kiev office.

Grubb joins Kiev office head Nick Fletcher, bringing the total number of partners on the ground to two.
Last year The Lawyer reported on the firm opening in Kiev with Warsaw managing partner Fletcher spearheading the launch (7 March).
Warsaw counsel Tomasz Stasiak joined the office along with four Ukrainian real estate associates when it launched last summer.
Clifford Chance Central Eastern Europe and Russia regional managing partner Michael Cuthbert said: “Jared’s move to Kiev reflects the requirements of local and international clients for advice in connection with investments, international debt restructurings and distressed assets.”
Grubb joined the firm as partner from CMS Cameron McKenna in 2007.
