Client relationship managers have set up a network to tackle issues facing client account professionals.
Members will discuss best practice, career progression, professional standards and the possibility of increased regulation of the role.
The network was set up by Clifford Chance client relationship managers Eric Toh and Claire Rowles, but is open to staff at other firms.
The magic circle, DLA Piper and around 10 other firms are currently involved, as well as professionals from the big four accountancy firms.
Client relationship managers are responsible for all non-legal aspects of the lawyer-client relationship, dealing directly with clients and client relationship partners.
