Clerk feels greenhouse effect

FORMER solicitors' clerk Dennis Boswell, whose 76-year-old mother was arrested for allegedly growing cannabis found in a greenhouse he had rented to a neighbour, is suing the neighbour for damages.

Boswell, who according to a writ issued by him in person, was dismissed from his post as senior litigation executive with Elliott & Company in Breams Buildings, London, claims that as a result of what happened, he was arrested, lost his job, suffered financially and his reputation suffered.

He also alleges that he has been subjected to police harassment and says he suspects his mail has been intercepted and his phone tapped.
